ABOUT JULIE
Hear the term ‘Health and Safety’ and you’ll likely think it’s necessary, boring and restrictive. It’s an industry full of ‘we can’t’. But, at Topaz Health & Safety, I believe we can look at things differently. For me, health and safety means ‘we can – safely’.
WHY ME
I’m Julie, and I’m the MD of Topaz Health & Safety. I’m straight-talking, fun, and easy to work with. I find practical answers to your health and safety problems. I handle construction design and management regulations, construction safety and construction health, making sure all your health and safety procedures are in order.
I like to get to know colleagues and clients personally and professionally. That way, we can work together to meet shared goals and objectives. I love collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver work on time and on budget, tackling everything from construction design and management to construction mental health.
HOW DO I WORK
I’ve studied for industry qualifications and gained professional memberships. That probably doesn’t sound exciting. But it shows you that I’ve learnt my trade, passed relevant exams, and know exactly what you need, and why, to meet the requirements of the CDM regulations.
My qualifications are in HND Building Studies, BSc Hons Building Processes and NVQ Level 4 (new Level 5) in Occupational Safety and Health.
I’m an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, a Chartered Member of the Institution for Occupational Safety and Health, and a Certified Member of the Association for Project Safety.
